Proposal for duty free access of Bangladesh products into Turkish market and increasing exports of pharmaceuticals, ready-made garment, ceramic and leather goods will be made during Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's three-day visit.
It will be the first ever Bangladeshi PM's state visit to Turkey.
Duty free access of Bangladeshi products and reconvening the Joint Economic Commission will be proposed.
Trade volume between two countries was $114 million in 2004-05, said Turkey's Foreign Secretary Hemayetuddin.
Bangladeshi exports to Turkey were worth $76.24 million while imports were $37 million in 2004-05 fiscal, he said.
Dhaka can benefit from Turkish business links with Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, and Turkey can become a conduit for Bangladeshi products to those countries, suggested the Foreign Secretary.
Both countries have friendly relationship and are members of Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC), Developing-8 (D-8) and the UN.
They have similar outlook on most international issues, Hemayetuddin added.
