The Rio de Janeiro-based label, operated by design trio Roberto, Claudia and Gisella Jatahy, featured a line made from wool, leather, felt, tulle, silk and lace. Replete with plaids, pleats and Punk-inspired piercings, the collection included bell sleeved shirts, and pants and jackets with uniquely detailed pockets.

Designer Rachel A Davidowicz staged an interesting show by using some 24 professional dancers, from the St. Paul Dance Company, as her runway models. Based on the post punk era, the featured line was made from stretchable fabrics like tulle, silk velvet, mesh, crepe, viscous knits, wool, cotton and synthetic leather. Based in a palette of black, gray, blue and white, the ensembles included tops with phrases like ‘Good morning’ and ‘Please’ scribbled on it.

Africa and the 1950’s and 60’s photographs shot by Malian Malick Sidibé played inspiration behind fashion label Tufi Duek’s latest winter-2014 collection. Designed by Eduardo Pombal, the silk, leather, raffia and wool made pieces are based in red, green, yellow, brown and off-white colours. Replete with modern silhouettes, geometric patterns, clean cuts and rich embroidery, the ensembles included short skirts, dresses and midis of various lengths.

Oskar Metsavaht, the designer behind the famous fashion brand Osklen, brought the soccer fever on the runways of SPFW. Abundant with soft materials like wool, dubbed mesh, silk, organza, satin and canvas, the collection comprised of sports shorts, dresses, bomber jackets and sweaters in black, off-white, red, yellow and green.
