Set up according to purchasing themes, the best overview anyone could ever wish for is presented on nine tables plus the PERFORMANCE GATE. And the PERFORMANCE FORUM is now better than ever! The categories have been reorganized to give purchasers and product managers an even faster way to find the materials best suited for the desired styles.
Innovation is at the center of the PERFORMANCE DAYS Trade Show and that explains how this platform has developed in just a very short time, into one of the mandatory stops in the world of functional fabrics.
The next PERFORMANCE DAYS once again fulfills all expectations for an informative and insightful trade show on 19-21 November in Munich. The popular PERFORMANCE FORUM, which provides a unique overview of all the latest innovations in the world of functional fabrics, has been reorganized and given a new design.
As always, the most interesting materials from all of the exhibitors at PERFORMANCE DAYS are displayed on the nine tables plus, in the PERFORMANCE GATE. The table categories have been reorganized for this show. The new topics are:
Baselayer, Midlayer, Softshell, Hardshell, 3-Layer, Highdensity & Lightweight, Shirt & Trouser, Casualwear, Workwear, and Accessories.
This new arrangement allows for a more accurate assignment of the fabrics according to their functional ranges - an additional plus for designers and product managers, who can form a representative overview of the categories and the major trends.
Innovative trend in fabrics for maximum comfort:
As the new materials for Winter 2015/16 show, manufacturers have again improved their fabrics, especially in the details. The look and feel, that is natural and soft to the touch is found even in the highly functional fabrics; especially, as light weight and the use of wool (especially Merino), are combined to provide active men and women better wearing comfort with higher functionality. The keywords for Winter 2015/16 are: Wools, top-function, natural look, soft feel, and unmatched airiness - in other words, maximum comfort!
Trend Topic: Wool
Merino, in particular, is catching on in a much broader base than ever before. In Winter 2015/16, Merino wool is found in every layer of the functional clothing systems, from base layer through midlayer to functional trousers and the backing of 3-layer laminates.
Not always pure, but often as a mix with functional fibers like polyester, the combination offers the best of both worlds and provides active athletes an adequate moisture transport even for strenuous forms of sport. Product managers will find a wide selection of Merino fabrics, either pure or mixed, depending on what functional range the fabric is to perform. Merino products can be found on the "Baselayer", "Midlayer", "Softshell," and "3-Layer", in addition to the "Shirt & Trouser" and "Casualwear" tables.
