For stronger and more productive trade relationship between Bangladesh and Turkey, Khaleda Aia, Prime Minister of Bangladesh asked for latter's support in various industries.
Attending a luncheon organized by the Union of Turkish Chambers & Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) in Ankara, Zia said that both sides should decide industries in which they could assist each other.
Zia also added that Bangladesh has advantage of low cost of investment and a labour force which could easily be educated.
Moreover, Turkey could import shoe leather and agricultural products from Bangladesh.
Zia also said that, Turkish and Bangladeshi private sectors could jointly establish product supply chains.
Meanwhile, TOBB Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu said that cooperation between Turkey and Bangladesh could be boosted in textiles industry.
He also suggested that Turkey should export its second-hand textile machines to Bangladesh.
