Alexium International Group Limited (Alexium)  announces a significant chemical contract regarding the sale of its FR chemicals to Essex Flameproofing Ltd. (Euroflam), a U.K.-based FR commission finisher specializing in home textiles, furnishings, and institutional/contract fabrics. 

 

This sale follows the recent sale of Nycolon FR chemicals to a major US-based textile finisher. Euroflam will use the first of Alexium’s product for customer projects for in-house production and coordinate projects with larger FR commission finishers and fabric wholesalers in the U.K. Euroflam has made commitments for subsequent purchases and will assist Alexium manage sales within the UK through other groups.

As a result of our intensified efforts over the past months, we are starting to see good momentum on product sales and sales prospects. Euroflam not only becomes a client of Alexium, but we have forged a partnership with Euroflam to assist Alexium in generating sales in the greater UK with other companies,” stated Nicholas Clark, Chief Executive Officer for Alexium.

Essex Flameproofing Ltd. (Euroflam) is an active member of the Textile Finishers Association, and are signed up to the voluntary code of practice with the regard to the safe use of FR chemicals and their impact on the environment
