EXPO 4.0 attracts 14,682 visitors from 40 countries

The EXPO 4.0 group trade fair includes the four trade fairs TV TecStyle Visions, wetec, GiveADays and DS TEC. Under the umbrella brand EXPO 4.0, the four trade fairs combine their expertise in promotion wear and workwear with special finishes, advertising technology, digital printing and illuminated advertising, promotional material and monitor-based information and promotion solutions. The trade fair occupied 35,000 m2 of exhibition space in Messe Stuttgart halls 2, 4, 6 and 8.
 
International growth: 495 exhibitors from 21 countries presented themselves to 14,681 accredited visitors from over 40 countries
 
Euphoria and enthusiasm – the 495 exhibitors (2012: 404) at EXPO 4.0, the group trade fair for visual and haptic communication, were pleased with the 14,681 (2012: 13,966) accredited visitors’ high willingness to invest. 
 
From 13-15 February 2014, the visitors came to the trade fair in Stuttgart from Europe and other continents with concrete investment plans. The exhibitors from a total of 21 countries were very enthusiastic about the high number of sales concluded. The positive economic forecast for 2014 supported the trade fair’s success, which exceeded expectations. 
 
TV TecStyle Visions underscores unique selling proposition
TV TecStyle Visions, the leading European trade fair for textile finishing and promotion, is becoming ever more international. And its importance for the sector is also growing. A total of 250 exhibitors, 97 of which are foreign companies, presented their product innovations and new products from the areas of textile printing, embroidery, flock, transfer printing, digital textile printing and laser technologies. 
 
The previous event in 2012 attracted 209 exhibitors, 62 of which came from abroad. This indicates that TV TecStyle Visions is establishing itself as an international trade fair. As per the results of the visitor survey, the accredited visitors came to Stuttgart from over 40 countries. After Germany, the top countries on the list are Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Italy. 
 
When asked about their interests, the visitors responded with embroidery and transfer printing in first place (48% each), followed by promotional textiles in general (44%), screen printing (43%) and digital printing (38%). Over half of the visitors shared the opinion that the significance of the trade fair will continue to grow. A total of 40% answered that they were only at the TV trade fair to find out more about the themes of textile finishing and promotion, and would not visit any other trade fairs.
