Organized by AEPC with support from the Indian Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Government of India, the trade show would feature an exceptional selection of contemporary creations manufactured by Indian producers especially for the South African market.
More than 30 Indian textile and clothing manufacturers would be showcasing a variety of products such as womenswear, menswear, kidswear, innerwear, sportswear, casualwear, t-shirts, apparel fabrics, clothing accessories, scarves, shawls, home textiles, etc., at the trade fair in both the cities.
The India Clothing and Textile Trade Show is organized with the objective of providing a platform for Indian manufacturers to establish successful partnerships with South African buyers, sourcing agents, importers, distributers, wholesalers and other industry trade professionals. Exhibitors at the show would also get the opportunity to establish business contacts and exchange information regarding the latest trends in textiles and garments.
This year, during the textile trade show in Cape Town, the Indian Council for Leather Exports (CLE) would also be hosting the India Leather and Footwear Trade Show in the city, in order to provide an opportunity for Indian leather and leather goods manufacturers to present their latest products to buyers in South Africa.
Around 35 leather and leather goods manufacturers would be showcasing their latest products such as leather footwear, leather garments, accessories and more, during the event in Cape Town.
