According to the FIMI website, the promotional campaign for the 79th edition of the international trade fair, which specializes in children’s communion and occasion wear, has already been initiated by the organizers of FIMI in order to internationalize the event.
FIMI director Alicia Gimeno said Spanish enterprises manufacturing kidswear are looking to position themselves in the international market and FIMI is the quintessential platform that can help them in enhancing their image.
Countries like Costa Rica, Ecuador, the US, Kazakhstan, Panama, Dominican Republic and Russia have shown increasing interest in Spanish fashion, and FIMI is an event where leading apparel manufacturers from the country present their latest collections in childrenswear to international buyers, she added.
Ms. Gimeno also informed that the July edition would also feature the FIMI Fashion Week where internationally renowned designers would be showcasing their spring-summer collections in children’s clothing.
More than 300 domestic and international exhibitors would be showcasing their latest collections in kidswear during the three-day show, including communion wear, ceremonial wear, bathwear, loungewear, and more.
