Interstoff Asia Essential attracts 7,027 global visitors

Buyers satisfied with increase in the latest products on offer

As one of the region’s leading trade fairs for the latest fashionable, functional and eco fabrics and garment accessories, buyers can expect to find the most prestigious and up-to-date products at the fair, and this year was no exception. 

Interstoff Asia Essential – Spring 2014, which was held in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 19 to 21 March, attracted 7,027 #

 

“Many of our exhibitors brought new products to the fair, such as double-face fabrics, seamless garment fabrics and PFC-free waterproof fabrics, which is a new environmentally friendly material used by many international outdoor clothing brands. These products were well-received by buyers,” Wen said. 

 

Visitors to the fair also appreciated the selection of products on display. “I'm definitely satisfied with the range the fair has on offer and the quality is good this year also. You can find mid- to high-quality fabrics at low-end and mid-range prices here. I come to this fair because it has a bit of everything from Asia. I especially like the functional fabrics from Taiwan, as well as the wide range of womenswear fabrics. I believe we can find whatever fabrics we have in our minds here,” said Gerardo Bamonte, Product Development Design Manager of Perry Ellis International from the US.

 

Apart from showcasing a larger variety of products, the fabric quality was another thing visitors liked about the fair. “The quality of suppliers here is good; this fair is a good business platform for me to source the right fabrics. I am quite happy with the result so far, and I will come back again next time,” said Federica Sampagna, Assistant Manager – Product Development of Global Brands at LF Sourcing in Hong Kong.
