Copenhagen International Fashion Fair from 11 - 14 August

CIFF has declared war? on the fashion front. Given the confusion surrounding fashion fairs in major European cities, the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair is readying itself for "The Battle of Europe", to quote directly from the marketing of the forthcoming fashion fair at Bella Center, 11 - 14 August.

This is especially true of children?s and teenage wear in light of the fact that the former market-leading European fashion fair, the Kind & Jugend Fashion Trade Show in Cologne, has considerably reduced the scope of its activities. In Copenhagen, the opposite is happening, and from August, Bella Center?s almost 11,000 m2 East Hall will only play host to children?s wear exhibitors.

Previously, there was room for international sub-suppliers to the textile industry, but now that is all history. In the wake of its successful European conquest, CIFF Kids has ensured absolute rule over Bella Center?s East Hall, thus securing its own exhibition hall with separate main entrance and own web site at www.ciffkids.dk

In August, CIFF Kids is increasing the number of exhib itors in the East Hall by at least 25% due to the fact that 20 or so children?s wear exhibitors, who until now have exhibited in CIFF's permanent showroom section, have chosen to move their activities into the children?s wear trade fair.

In addition, the fashion fair will be opening its doors to even more international exhibitors, so that in August, the East Hall will house well overver 100 main exhibitors with as many as 400 international brands situated around the East Hall?s central focal point - CIFF Kids Café - with its netcafé, trend forum and catwalk, where the four daily fashion shows with children?s and teenage wear will be held.
