International Fair Mekong Expo 2006 opened in southern city of Can Tho, yesterday.
The fair opened under the theme 'Friendship and co-operation for development in Mekong river delta, Vietnam, and ASEAN.'
The Expo has attracted 400 domestic and foreign enterprises.
Machinery, transport vehicles, construction equipment, local investment projects and programmes, industrial goods, fine arts and handicrafts, electronic products, garments and textiles, amongst others, are the products on display.
The fair is organised jointly by Ministries of Defence, Transports, Construction, Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam Farmers' Association and Can Tho People's Committee.
