Hungary's TVK restarts steam cracker post-maintenance

Tisza Chemical Group Public Limited Company (TVK Plc.), a member of MOL Group, has restarted its steam cracker post-maintenance turnaround.
“The Olefin-1 (Steam Cracker 1) of TVK was restarted on June 2, 2014, as per the planned schedule,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
The cracker, located at Tiszaújváros in Northeast Hungary, has an ethylene capacity of 370,000 mt/year.
TVK, which stands for Tiszai Vegyi Kombinat, manufacturers olefins and polyolefins, such as polyethylene and polypropylene.
