Propylene prices surge in Western markets; dip in Japan

In S E Asian countries, Propylene prices decreased by US$ 5/ton to US$ 1265/ton. In Korea, prices were stable at US$ 1320/ton, while they dropped by US$ 5/ton to US$ 1285/ton in Japan. In the Chinese market, prices were assessed at US$ 1380/ton.
In Western markets, Propylene prices surged by € 30/ton. In the N W European domestic market, prices were spotted at € 1060/ton, and deals were mainly offered in the range of € 1050/ton to € 1070/ton. In the U.S.A. market, selling offers were stable at 57.65 cents/pound.
Acrylonitrile prices were steady in Asian markets. In S E and F E Asian countries, prices were assessed at US$ 2060/ton and US$ 2070/ton, respectively.
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of ASF and Acrylic Tops stayed unchanged at RMB 18450/ton and RMB 19700/ton, respectively. (RKS)
