Weak buying trends pull down Asian benzene price last week

Benzene prices declined in Asian countries last week, due to weak buying trends in the region.
In Korean market, prices went down by 3.91% and were assessed in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1280/ton in the week ending Sept 6, compared to US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton in the previous week ending Aug 30.
In Japan, prices fell by 3.89% and were quoted in the range of US$ 1235/ton to US$ 1285/ton last week against US$ 1275/ton to US$ 1315/ton in its previous week.
In Indian market, prices too decreased by 3.88% and were offered in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1290/ton last week vis-à-vis US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton in week ending Aug 30. (AR)
