She has been elected in place of Fritz Mayer, Chairman at Karl Mayer Textilmaschinenfabrik, who led the Textile Machinery Association since 2008 as Chairperson.
Fritz Mayer will continue to be connected with VDMA as its Vice-Chairman. In this position, he will devote attention to European and international relations of the Textile Machinery Association.
After her election, Regina Brückner said, “The new board of directors is a pleasant mix of proven members and new faces. I think these are good prerequisites for a successful and creative work during the forthcoming three years.”
Commenting on Regina Bruckner, Fritz Mayer said, “I am very pleased that Regina Brückner, an experienced businesswoman has become my successor.”
“She has lead Brückner through difficult terrains in the last 15 years. I am convinced that Regina Brückner will be an excellent Chairperson”, he added.
Brückner is a manufacturer of technology for dry textile finishing. Between two German sites, Bruckner employs 330 people and has annual revenues of about 80 million Euros. (AR)
