MEG & BG PET Chips prices fall in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1265ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices plunged and were quoted at US$ 1255/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1275/ton to US$ 1280/ton.
 
PTA prices dipped in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were offered at US$ 955/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 955/ton to US$ 960/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices fell and were assessed in the range of RMB 6825/ton to RMB 6875/ton.
 
Ethylene prices maintained steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1490/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of 68.00 cents/pound to 68.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1185/ton and € 935/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices dropped in the Asian region. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices declined and were quoted at US$ 965/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 965/ton to US$ 970/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7065/ton to RMB 7115/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept steady in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 9025/ton to RMB 9075/ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips kept stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1170/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 8825/ton to RMB 8875/ton.
 
PSF prices decreased in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices declined to US$ 1385/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices plunged to US$ 1285/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9500/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and FDY went down to RMB 9700/ton and RMB 10350/ton, respectively, while DTY prices kept stable at RMB 11450/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY decreased to US$ 1335/ton and US$ 1420/ton, respectively, whereas DTY prices increased to US$ 1580/ton.
