Dixie Group takes over CYP carpet manufacturer

The Dixie Group Inc., one of America’s fastest growing floor-covering companies, has acquired all the assets of Burtco Enterprises, Inc, a provider of Tapistron Computer Yarn Placement (CYP) soft carpets that serves the hospitality market place.

The Dixie Group Inc. is hiring all the employees of Burtco Enterprises Inc., including its operations, sales and marketing staffs, and will continue to operate its tufting facility in Chickamauga, Georgia. The operations will continue to be led by Elizabeth Moore, who was previously the CEO of Burtco Enterprises Inc.

The Dixie Group Inc. is a leading marketer and manufacturer of carpet and rugs, to higher-end residential and commercial customers, through the Fabrica International, Masland Carpets, Dixie Home, Masland Contract, and Avant brands.

Burtco Enterprises Inc. is famous for high-quality, custom-crafted carpets, designed for the hospitality industry. The company specializes in manufacturing both wool and solution-dyed CYP products used in public spaces and hotel guest rooms around the world, along with multi-level cut and loop, cut pile, enhanced loop, infinity, and graphic carpets.
