Bearish buying trends led to European and US benzene prices plunging in the last week ending Oct 17.
In Europe, average benzene prices sank by US$ 120/ton or 9.02 percent and were quoted at US$ 1210/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
In the US market, average benzene prices tumbled by 30 cents/gallon and were assessed at 385 cents/gallon last week or down 7.23 percent against its previous week.
