Weak downstream product prices coupled with lower upstream energy prices in the region, led to Asian ethylene prices dropping in the last week ending Nov 29th.

In Japan too, prices slipped by US$ 50/ton and were offered at US$ 1080/ton by the end of the last week, down 4.42 per cent from Nov 24th.
In SE Asia and India, prices also fell by US$ 55/ton and were quoted at US$ 1160/ton by the end of last week as against prices on Nov 24th, a decline of 4.53 per cent.
