Asian MEG weakens last week from poor downstream prices

Asian MEG prices weakened in Asia in the last week ending Dec 6, due to poor downstream product prices in the region.
In India, average prices went down by US$ 35/ton or 4.02 per cent and were assessed at US$ 835/ton last week, as compared to previous week ending Nov 29.
In China, average prices dropped down by US$ 55/ton and were quoted at US$ 830/ton last week, down 6.21 per cent as against its previous week.
