Propylene prices went down in parts of Asia yesterday (Dec 15), mainly due to sluggish downstream demand along with fall in upstream energy prices and lower downstream product prices.

Prices in China were spotted at US$ 730/ton on Dec 15, also down by US$ 20/ton as against those seen by end of previous week.
Prices were stable in SE Asia and Japan at US$ 745/ton and US$ 690/ton respectively.
