US benzene prices slip last week, rise in Europe

In US, benzene prices slipped due to ample of product availability in the last week ended Feb 27, while they rose in Europe from lift in buying interest in the region.
In Europe, average prices rose by US$ 25/ton or 4.17 per cent and were quoted at US$ 625/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
However in the US, average prices dipped by 5 cents/gallon and were assessed at 200 cents/gallon last week, down 2.44 per cent as against its previous week.
