Ethylene prices rise in parts of Asia on Thursday

Ethylene prices rose in parts of Asia on Thursday (March 26) from tight product availability in the region and higher upstream energy prices.
Supporting the price rise was strong downstream demand in the region.
In SE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 1275/ton on Thursday, higher by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices on Wednesday (March 25).
In NE Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 1175/ton on March 26, also up by US$ 5/ton as against prices on March 25.
However, prices remained stable in Korea and Japan at US$ 1125/ton and US$ 1120/ton respectively.
Supporting the price rise was strong downstream demand in the region.
In SE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 1275/ton on Thursday, higher by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices on Wednesday (March 25).
In NE Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 1175/ton on March 26, also up by US$ 5/ton as against prices on March 25.
However, prices remained stable in Korea and Japan at US$ 1125/ton and US$ 1120/ton respectively.
