Higher upstream prices propels Asian benzene on April 20

Higher upstream energy prices and rise in downstream product prices as well as feedstock prices in the region propelled benzene prices in Asia on Monday (April 20).

In Korea, prices were witnessed at US$ 880/ton on Monday, higher by US$ 15/ton as compared to prices at end of the last week.

In Japan, prices were assessed at US$ 885/ton on April 20, up by US$ 15/ton as against prices seen towards end of the previous week.

In India, prices were at spotted US$ 890/ton on Monday, also higher by US$ 15/ton from prices witnessed at end of last week.
