In a press release, SAS Textiles said it also uses eco-friendly blends of recycled polyester, Tencel and organic cotton.
“Produced from an extensive range of machinery, we offer our customers a wide range of constructions using Lenzing’s luxurious fibres,” CEO Sean Sassounian said.
The show will also see the debut of the company’s SAS Sport line, featuring high-performance synthetic and stretch fabrics for the active, outdoor, and lifestyle markets.
The new offerings include CAFTA qualified technical fabrics with inherent moisture management, cooling, and UV-protection functions; as well as on-trend patterns and textures.
SAS has recently entered in to a strategic partnership with a printer for sublimation printing on its polyester fabrics.
“The active and yoga brands are moving beyond basic fabrics and into more visual textures and prints,” Sassounian added.
