Ethylene prices decline in Europe & US last week

Ethylene prices declined in Europe and the US in the last week ended August 14 due to weak upstream product prices in the region.
In Europe, average prices went down by US$ 25/ton or 2.16 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1130/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices climbed down by 5 cents/pound and were assessed at 25 cents/pound in the last week, down 16.67 per cent as against its earlier week.
