KSL & Industries unleash Rs 600cr plan to enhance quality & production

KSL & Industries Ltd has unleashed an Rs 600 crore development plan for the up and coming two years. The subsidiary company of Saurabh Kumar Tayal Enterprise is aiming to exports reach at Rs 300 crore by 2007-08.

Chairman of KSL, Saurabh Kumar Tayal informed that now a days value added knitted fabrics are in great demand.

“To cater this demand and make strong relation with potential buyers like Zenya, Aarmani and Versace the company will enhance manufacturing of high value added knitted fabrics and garments made of cotton, with counts of 60s and 80s,” he added.

The company has taken various steps to increase production capacity. Its current spinning is 10,000 ton per year with 65,000 spindles, 19,000 ton per year of knitting with 200 machines, and 1000 ton per year of processing.

The company is planning to install additional 150,000 spindles for manufacturing cotton yarn, matching knitting and fabric processing capacity, and garments manufacturing set-up.

KSL was established in 1975 as a small knitting unit, and has now became an integrated textile company involved in spinning of yarn, knitting of fabrics, processing of knitted fabrics, and making finished garments.
