State to own entire charter capital of Vinatex

Vietnamese Prime Minister has approved organizing and operational charter of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) by signing Decision No. 158/2006/QÐ-TTg on July 3, 2006, official sources revealed.
According to this charter, Vietnamese State will control charter capital of the group and manage all operations.
Vinatex is to inherit all rights and responsibilities of former Vietnam Textile and Garment Corporation.
Based on charter of the former corporation, major business operations of Vinatex will focus in textile and garment sectors to become a multi-trading group owning several leading goods and brand names in both domestic and overseas markets.
