Australian Wool Innovation Ltd., the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO) and Australian Wool Services (AWS/Woolmark) - the US was deemed to provide the ideal test market in the short term.
Luxury high end retailer Saks Fifth Avenue and mid to upper-tier retailers, Dillards have joined forces with TMP to spearhead this concerted wool marketing campaign to tap into the billion dollar US apparel market.
“Wealthy North American consumers want quality, reliability and perceived value,” says Brenda McGahan. “Wool offers all of these attributes and more.”
On the Woolmark booth there will be information on the benefits of the The Woolmark Company licensing programme, new color trend information for Interior Textiles 2007/08 and an extensive global resource guide which has been compiled frominformation received from exhibiting licensees and provides a 'one stop wool resource' for the wool and wool blend products shown on licensee booths.
