Developing countries urge World Trade Organization (WTO) for support, as they feel increase in Chinese exports is turning them out of the global textile market.
Turkey stated that the WTO, whose role it is to retain stability in global commerce should immediately take action on the trade dilemma faced by some of its members as a result of throat cutting competition with China.
Turkish trade representatives informed that the textile-exporting countries are experiencing severe competition and expressed the risk of being pulled out of their domestic markets.
However, China claimed that the global textile industry had been provided enough period to reorganize for the outcome of ending the global textile quota.
