Textile and apparel exports to Russia soar 69%

Textile and apparel exports to Russian markets in the first five months this year made sky–rocket posting year–on–year increasing of 69 percent.
Most demanded products include overcoat, elastic shirts and jackets that are expected to expand more market share there since they are winning taste of local consumers for both quality and price.
According to data released by Ministry of Trade, in the April 2006, exports turnover to the market earned US $3.8 million, raising figures of January–April period to $14.9 million.
