Agtek members held 3rd trading session

A conference of the HCMC Association for Garment-Textile-Embroidery-Knitting (Agtek) was held recently wherein about 30 textile and garment enterprises joined the third trading session for the sector's machinery and materials in HCMC.
This session helped solving certain outstanding problems faced by the industry, material supply and pending textile and garment material trading center that the city has been building over the past three years but construction work has yet to be completed.
Agtek member companies displayed their wares at a small industry exhibition.
The sector contributes 12 percent of the city's total industrial production value and 40 percent of the national textile and garment output.
