Chairman of Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas), Le Quoc An, proposed that Vietnamese Ministry of Trade (MOT) should revoke all unused quota of textile and garment products exporting to US before August.
Enterprises in the list include those, which have already registered quota of security deposit but has not been used.
"These enterprises should return the quota so that the others having orders but lacking quota could fulfill them in the end months of this year”, An elaborated.
Meanwhile, Vitas also insisted that MOT severely punish companies that do not return their unused quota.
