Museum of Fine Arts is to organize a contest from July 29, where University students and craftsmen will be showcasing their talent on carpet designs.
Contest is being held on the sidelines of an exposition 'Patient Knots, Eternal Designs' and will try to promote culture by creating healthy competitive environment for young talents.
Theme of the competition is centered on subjects such as 'the pleasant scene of heaven'.
Work of the contestant will be adjudged on the basis of parameters such as consistency in patterns, innovative designs, colour harmony and contrast, which are features of genuine Iranian carpet designs.
