Trade delegation to visit Italy for investment & exports promotion

A delegation from the public and private sectors will take part on Monday in a promotional mission in Italy organized by the Jordan Investment Board in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Italian foreign ministry.
The delegation, which comprises representatives of 25 companies is led by Minister of Industry and Trade Sharif Zu'bi.
The visit is designed to promote Jordan's investment and exports sectors including olive oil, marble, jewelery, textile, garments, Dead Sea products and pharmaceutical industries.
The Executive Director of the JIB Dr. Ma'an Nsour will present during the mission, a briefing on Jordan's investment privileges, facilities provided to investors and the available investment opportunities in Jordan.
Representatives of the companies will also meet during this visit, with their Italian counterparts.
The promotional visit comes as a preparation for the conference, which will be organized by the JIB next November in cooperation with UNIDO, and in which Jordan will host trade and industrial companies as well as businessmen from various world countries.
