Marimekko's exports up 25%, growth in home market 'slower than expected'

Full-year earnings will be affected by weaker than expected sales trends in Finland. The Group racks up its strongest earnings in the last two quarters of the financial year.
Marimekko Oyj - The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market clothing, interior decoration textiles and accessories.
The clothing collection of the Group includes woven fabric garments as well as knitwear and jerseys made of natural materials. The interior decoration products of the Group include printed cotton and linen fabrics, table-setting products, bed linen, bathroom textiles and interior decoration accessories and accessories include tote bags, briefcases, backpacks, shoulder bags, mobile phone cases, purses and makeup bags.
The important export markets for clothing and Interior decoration include Germany, Sweden, the United States, Japan, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands.
