Riding high on the findings of Commonwealth Business Council, Fijian Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase, has said that country was one of the most developed in Pacific region especially in construction and tourism sector.
Speaking at a Fiji Trade and Investment seminar in Melbourne, he said that such findings affirmed the fact that country was on the correct path and investors were confident regarding their investment.
Qarase informed that Australia was country's major private sector investor and Australian companies and businessmen had contributed a great deal in Fijian economy.
Jaindra Kumar, the Fijian Trade Commissioner in Sydney said that the seminar was attended by investors belonging to sectors like textile, clothing and footwear among others and was well represented.
