With wool-based fashion parade and an awards presentation for local fleece, Goodooga CWA Annual Wool Day concluded in style where more than 180 people were presented.
This event was sponsored by Greg Woodlock from Elders Brewarrina. He was also the judge of the 126 fleece contests.
Lightning Ridge's Tony Dowton's fleece was ranked first. Recently he also won an award for his fleece at the Dubbo National Sheep Show and Ram Sale a fortnight ago.
Parade announcer, Maxine O'Brien stated that they receive more than 400 application from Australia and other countries such as UK, USA, New Zealand and UAE to win prizes of $40,000.
