Hyderabad Hi-Tech Textile Park (HHTP) will be developed near Cheguru village with an estimated investment of Rs415 crore.
Unioin Textile Ministry will provide Rs40 crore grant and state Government will allocate Rs5 crore to establish infrastructure in an area of 150 acres of land.
Two foreign companies have shown their interest in development of this park, Italian company Carrera Holdings has formed textile co-ordination center and Vinci-Picanol from Belgium would guide domestic textile industry to sustain in global competition.
Textile co-ordination centre in Mumbai will assist for better allocation of resources and would make domestic textile industry much competitive in terms of quality, price and better services.
In this park there will be around 100 members expected to establish 2,000 advanced looms with production capacity of 2 lakh meters of cloth per day in first phase and another 2 lakh bales in the second phase.
Around 5,000 to 10,000 people will get job in this park.
