We are delighted that the show just closed attracted 478 companies and labels (compared with 418 last February), with 49 percent of these coming from abroad and representing 30 countries. The exhibitors occupied 17,000 m² of exhibition space.
31 labels (including 20 from abroad) representing 495 m² were rejected by the show's selection committee.
Having made a substantial advance on September 2005 (+20.5 percent), Eclat de Mode has strengthened its position as the undisputed leading show for fashion jewellery with a 2.3 percent rise in visitor numbers compared with the previous show to 11,004 visitors.
Foreign buyers were present in force: with a 6.2 percent rise in international visitors.
NB: strict monitoring of trade credentials at the show entrance ensured an even higher quality body of visitors.
Overall, the change of hall was well received by both exhibitors and visitors, with its air-conditioning ensuring more comfortable working conditions.
Many visitors found the sector divisions of the show, which were introduced a number of shows ago, to be more coherent as a result of the two level layout of the show.
