For the first time, an Indian apparel firm Kimaya, which also represented India at London Fashion week has been invited by Milan Fashion Week to be part of its gala as a buyer.
Kimaya's Chairperson, Pradeep Hirani along with Neha Hirani is leading an eight-member team to do business at the fashion week which got off this Saturday.
Pradeep pointed out the importance of the invitation saying that India had been recognized at last as a buyer at international stage which is proud moment for entire fashion industry.
He further stated that their participation in these fashion weeks would provide European designers a perfect platform to launch their brands in India.
Kimaya has 108 designers including designers from Pakistan, Malaysia and South Africa and plans to induct European designers and brands.
Kimaya's entry in these fashion weeks clearly signifies the fact that India's potential is being noted by European fashion industry.
