The 10 p.m. deadline on Garba may have poured cold water on the spirits of people but it has not stopped them from purchasing costly apparels which cost anywhere between Rs25,000 to 5 lakh.
Even though most of the people do not mind obeying police orders, they see Navratri as the period to buy costly dresses. Garba organizers have also played every card to induce people to their venues. Various promotional schemes have been launched by the organizers to bring people to their venues.
Offers include gold ornaments and jewellery sets and some relatively small organizers are giving away sets of FMCG items and so on.
