The annual Uganda International Fashion Week will be held from November 23 to 26, signifying the importance of Uganda's ever growing fashion industry.
The show is scheduled to present blend of fabrics, jewelry and other accessories from both local and international designers.
Director Santa Anzo of Arapapa consultancy which is event organizer informed that fashion week plans to develop the local global industry in a creative, people-oriented and self- motivated sector.
Riding on the success of last year's show, Arapapa promises this year's show even more exciting. The show includes four day fashion expo, gala night along with a fashion show which includes a kiddies show.
The designers must be inspired by Ugandan and African theme in order to sketch the African fashion and style and still reflects the international trends.
It is expected that local materials will be used by designers for their collections. More than 30 local designers and houses are expected to participate in the gala.
