Hi-tech to boost carpet quality & exports, says Vaghela

Shanker Singh Vaghela, Union Textiles Minister present at the Varanasi Carpet Expo said that the textile industry should focus on developing technology that will help create modern carpets with quality patterns.
Vaghela explained that the international quality products would attract foreign customers and increase carpet exports.
He also informed that the Government is not only launching new schemes that will benefit carpet, handloom and textile industry, but also considering a proposal to let-go weaver's and worker's loan of over Rs1000 crore.
