Vietnam's rapid economic growth in the past couple of years has attracted the attention of many domestic textile enterprises that expressed keen interest in joint ventures and bilateral trade.
Igor Junas, Chairman, Bratislava Regional Chamber, Commerce and Industry, addressing the press at the Vietnam-Slovakia Business Forum in Ha Noi said that the countries have plans to sign several contracts that will aid two-way trade.
He said that while exports to Vietnam were mainly restricted to iron, steel and construction materials, Government hopes to supply advanced technological equipment and eco-friendly products in the near future that will provide major boost to annual transactions of around US $20 million.
Meanwhile, imports from Vietnam include textile and garment products and farm and seafood produce.
