Amazing response at International Conference on Technical Textiles

Business Co-ordination House, BCH & its members participated in the International Conference on Technical Textiles, IIT Delhi & presented an interactive platform to the entrepreneurs from all across the globe, to explore the opportunities in all the application areas of the technical textiles.

The International Conference on Technical Textiles, organized by Department of Textile Technology, IIT Delhi, gathered a huge participation from the technical textiles industry worldwide.

Held on 11th & 12th November'06, the conference brought together the industry, research organizations and academia involved in the field of technical textiles and offered a forum to carry out discussions, focusing on existing technical textile products, new product development possibilities, domestic & global market potential and finally the suitable strategies for the development of the nascent technical textile industry in India.

The paper & poster presentations were made on the design aspects and manufacturing technologies for various functional and technical textiles products including technical yarns, woven, knitted, braided and nonwovens products.

All the application areas of the technical textiles industry as agro textiles, medical textiles, geotextiles, cloth textiles, construction textiles & others were discussed upon.

Unifying the diversified needs of the industry, BCH, the co-sponsor of the International Conference, participated with an interactive booth. The booth attracted a global interactive participation of the major players of the industry. It showcased & evolved as a premier venue for information in the field of technical textiles.
