UK based Society of Dyers and Colourists will organize its third annual international conference on 21 October 2005 at a new venue: the Elstree Moat House Hotel, Borehamwood, UK.
The theme of the 2005 conference is Creating Brand Power Through Colour and the keynote speaker is one of Europe's most successful fashion designers and entrepreneurs, George Davies, founder of Next and the man behind George at Asda and per una.
Brands are fundamental to business success today and deliver many advantages: from establishing an inherent preference to buy, to justifying premium pricing; from creating a platform of trust and credibility, to bolstering confidence and the share price.
The Society's 2005 conference will highlight the critical contribution that colour makes to the power of brands as a set of cues, symbols and experiences that combine to create an overall perception that drives behaviour.
The keynote address will be given by George Davies, a Fellow of the Society. He will lead an impressive line-up of international speakers which includes representatives from Top Shop, Adidas, The Mix, Quantum Clothing, X-Rite, Davenport Lyons and the London College of Fashion.
