Fire broke out in a cotton warehouse situated at Ukhri road, Jabalpur on December 21, 2006 at 4.00 am.
Large amount of cotton and cloth stored in the warehouse led to the blaze spreading rapidly and it caused huge losses.
It was brought under control by efforts of about eight fire brigades. What caused the fire is still not clear. Property worth approximately Rs4 lakhs has been destroyed.
