South Africa - favourite destination for textile investment

Sino-Africa Co-operation Forum which ended on November 2006 in Beijing has boosted the investment of textile units to Africa. South Africa, one of the developed countries in Africa, has emerged as favorite destination for textile units to invest or set up offices in Africa.
South African Government is encouraging textile units for more investment in local market, official sources informed.
South Africa has good base for establishment of textile industry, cheap raw material and labour force. More over, Free Trade Agreements signed by South Africa are attracting textile units for investment. With investment in South Africa, textile industry is expecting to increase its share in international market.
