On December 29, 2006, the Industry and Commerce Bureau of Zhejiang province rejected imported shoes of famous brands like LV, D&G, BOSS, Zegnaa, Sport etc.
These leather shoes were rejected during the quality inspection conducted by the Bureau.
The leather shoes made in Spain, Italy, Rumania, Slovakia and other countries are entering into Chinese market on a large scale and these shoes are 10 times costly than Chinese leather shoes. It is available in range of RMB1500 to RMB4000 per pair.
Out of 46 lots of imported leather shoes and sneakers inspected, 35 lots were rejected and only 23.91 percent of them were able to meet standards.
